Product Manager (Regulatory Solutions)

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: 89,000–111,000 CAD annual base salary, with additional bonus eligibility potentially available.

What you will do

• Define and drive the roadmap for regulatory solutions covering ESG reporting, regulatory disclosures, and financial filing packages such as Solvency II.
• Act as the voice of customers within an agile software development team and translate needs into user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with regulated financial institutions, compliance teams, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success.
• Apply XBRL expertise to filing requirements, taxonomy mapping, tagging, and validation rules.
• Own and prioritize product backlogs across multiple products while managing conflicting priorities.
• Lead release and sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations, documentation, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership or product management.
• 5+ years of experience with agile software development practices and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Agile.
• Experience negotiating backlogs with engineers and senior leadership and influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Knowledge of XBRL and its use in regulatory financial filings, including ESEF, iXBRL, SEC/EDGAR, taxonomy mapping, tagging, and validation.
• Domain experience with Solvency II, CSRD/ESG reporting, IFRS, or equivalent regulatory disclosure and filing requirements.

Nice to have

• Agile, Pragmatic Marketing, Project Management, or Scrum Product Owner certification.
• Experience partnering with UX teams.
• Experience with EPM consolidation, planning, and reporting solutions.
