Staff Software Engineer (Dynamics/AI)

Location: United States; hybrid and remote environments supported

Salary: $200,000–$285,000 annually; ranges listed for the national market, Maryland, and NYC/Long Island/Westchester.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of software features and platform capabilities for hirify.global Tax products.
• Design scalable, reliable services, REST APIs, user-facing applications, and Dynamics/ERP integrations.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities using LLMs and agent workflows while following responsible AI, governance, safety, and data protection controls.
• Establish engineering standards through architecture reviews, code reviews, reusable libraries, templates, and internal tooling.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, observability, security scanning, and production reliability practices.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical direction, and collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive software engineering experience delivering enterprise software products.
• At least 5 years building and maintaining production-grade services and APIs with C#/.NET or Java.
• Experience with enterprise platforms and business systems, including Dynamics/ERP integrations.
• Knowledge of secure software development, Agile and Lean practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Ability to lead and manage teams, communicate effectively, translate business outcomes into technical designs, and work in hybrid and remote environments.
• Work must align with the listed United States locations and hybrid or remote arrangements.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, evaluation methods, and governance-aligned safety controls.
• Experience delivering tax-domain platforms for Partnership, Direct Tax, or Indirect Tax.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, NoSQL, C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Microsoft Azure or Scrum certifications.
