Production Scheduler Co-Op (Manufacturing)

Location: Decatur, Texas, United States; full-time onsite assignment

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on overall qualifications

What you will do

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and update schedules as priorities change.
• Review open orders and prioritize work to support customer delivery commitments.
• Identify material shortages, capacity constraints, and other scheduling risks.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve schedule issues.
• Maintain ERP scheduling data, track Schedule Compliance and On-Time Shipment, prepare planning reports, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in supply chain management, operations management, industrial or manufacturing engineering, business, logistics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Ability to learn and use ERP/MRP systems and maintain accurate operational data.

Nice to have

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain concepts.
• Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Access, or other reporting and data visualization tools.
• Sophomore, junior, or senior standing with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029.
