Factory Planner (Quantum Computing)

Location: Onsite at the Bothell, Washington, United States office

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 USD per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Create, release, maintain, and close work orders in NetSuite, including accurate dates and quantities.
• Run MRP processes, manage planned orders and exception messages, and coordinate shortages and expedites.
• Lead production meetings and communicate schedule status, risks, recovery plans, and prioritized shortages.
• Support engineering changes by assessing inventory and WIP impact, planning cut-in points, and managing obsolete material.
• Maintain ERP item master, BOM, routing, and inventory data while reporting planning KPIs and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production planning, master scheduling, or materials planning experience in manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems, including planned orders, pegging, exception messages, and planning parameters.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and independent data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings.
• Must meet U.S. person or applicable U.S. export-control authorization requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP.
• Experience in high-mix/low-volume manufacturing, prototype-to-production, or new product introduction.
• APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP, or active pursuit of certification.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, kanban, pull-based replenishment, engineering change orders, or revision-controlled builds.
• Experience with business intelligence reporting tools.
