Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote, based in Norfolk, Virginia, USA; occasional work may be required at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Salary: $86,800–$198,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Design, define, develop, test, and debug Azure cloud solution components.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, Azure engineers, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Create and manage container applications within a DevOps framework.
• Use Kubernetes and Azure platforms to modernize legacy systems and build new applications.
• Explore and validate technical solutions in the Azure pre-production lab.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based applications, databases, and network devices.
• 3+ years of Azure experience and 2+ years of Kusto Query Language experience.
• Experience with Azure Administrator, Azure Monitor with Sentinel, Microsoft Logic Apps, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft AZ-103 or AZ-104 courses.
• Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information; bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Windows Server 2022 Active Directory experience.
• Red Hat Linux experience.
• SC-200 Defender for Cloud certification.
