Business Banking Underwriter II (Fintech)

Location: McKinney, Texas, United States; office-based

Salary: $57,000–$113,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite business banking loans for creditworthiness and compliance with lending policy.
• Maintain an individual pipeline of business banking underwriting work.
• Review financial statements, credit applications, and related information to make credit decisions.
• Assess borrower risk profiles and underwrite moderately complex credit exposures up to $2.5 million.
• Use single approval authority for credit decisions up to $2 million.
• Support additional tasks within the business banking line of business and job family.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of business or commercial underwriting experience in a centralized lending environment.
• Ability to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $1 million.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, planning, and follow-up skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.
