Market Leader - Fire & Building Safety

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; based in the Pacific Northwest, ideally near Portland, Oregon or Bellevue, Washington. Candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the Pacific Northwest.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying opportunities for revenue growth across engineering, life safety, and fire engineering services.
• Lead business development activities, including client meetings and participation in professional and trade organizations.
• Perform technical consulting in code consulting, fire life safety, and fire engineering assessments.
• Manage assigned projects, client expectations, budgets, schedules, and profitability goals.
• Serve as a senior technical leader and conduct quality control reviews of client deliverables.
• Improve business processes and develop innovative solutions with the regional team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Successful experience delivering technical consulting services and developing client relationships.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver sales presentations.
• Demonstrated business development mindset and client development portfolio.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Pacific Northwest is expected.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license, NICET certification, or equivalent qualification.
