What you will do
- Lead building maintenance, repair, and operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
- Monitor energy usage, inspect equipment, maintain service documentation, and improve building efficiency.
- Oversee vendors, contractors, contract compliance, quality control, and tenant improvement projects.
- Prepare budgets and manage purchasing, inventory, capital planning, and project administration.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop Engineering staff, including performance goals and development plans.
- Serve as a primary contact and first responder for building emergencies, safety issues, tenants, vendors, and property managers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 10 years of industry-related experience or equivalent certification/trade experience, including at least 5 years of supervisory, training, and mentoring experience.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, BAS, fire protection, life safety systems, building codes, blueprints, energy management, and CMMS platforms.
- Required engineering and trade licenses; CFC certification is preferred or must be obtained if requested.
- Strong troubleshooting, capital budgeting, contract administration, project management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.
