Salary: $115,080–$218,520 annually for U.S. locations; location-specific ranges may apply.

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures for Epic applications.
• Lead migrations of Epic systems to AWS, Azure, and GCP, optimizing infrastructure for cloud-native environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, performance, and cost optimization.
• Implement load balancing and virtual desktop infrastructure solutions, including Citrix NetScaler, Big IP F5, and VDI platforms.
• Provide consulting guidance to clients and collaborate with Epic specialists and healthcare IT teams.
• Lead and mentor cloud engineering teams while creating technical documentation, diagrams, and system integrations.

Requirements

• Epic ECSA Certification and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of Epic systems, including Hyperspace, Hyperspace Web, MyChart, Care Everywhere, Interconnect, Epic printing, and Kuiper.
• Expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtual applications and desktops, load-balancing technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Experience leading Epic technical implementations, creating system diagrams, and integrating third-party applications.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, healthcare IT operations, security, and healthcare compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of Epic experience, particularly in Epic client-server administration.
• Experience delivering multiple cloud-based Epic implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
