Registered Nurse (ACCESS Program), Remote

What you will do

• Review patients entering the ACCESS program using integrated laboratory data and identify missing baseline tests.
• Verify clinical indications, diagnosis codes, laboratory history, and elapsed time against standing orders for eCKM and CKM tracks.
• Release standing laboratory orders in the EHR under the Regional ACCESS Director’s authority and document medical necessity and ordering intent for Medicare billing compliance.
• Manage daily order queues with speed, precision, and high clinical accuracy to prevent enrollment delays.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on laboratory ordering workflows and support the interdisciplinary care team.
• Identify workflow friction and automation opportunities, test improvements with stakeholders, and resolve clinical blockers.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted multistate Registered Nurse license through the Nurse Licensure Compact, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as program needs expand.
• Experience with protocol-driven or standing-order work, including releasing orders and performing physician-delegated tasks.
• Experience reviewing and synthesizing patient records, validating laboratory history, and identifying outstanding diagnostic requirements.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and order entry, plus knowledge of lipid panels, HbA1c, eGFR, and uACR.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience in value-based care organizations.
• Active unrestricted RN license in Tennessee, New Jersey, Texas, Oregon, Mississippi, Kentucky, or Utah.
• Experience with athenaOne/Athena EHR and diverse or underserved populations.
