Manager, Distribution

Location: On-site at the Blue Ash Distribution Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$105,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead daily distribution operations and develop the team at the Blue Ash Distribution Center.
• Ensure domestic and international customer orders ship on time and incoming materials are received on time.
• Own the site budget, inventory accuracy, and performance across safety, quality, productivity, and service metrics.
• Advance workplace safety programs and Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance.
• Build workload-based productivity plans and apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve quality and eliminate waste.
• Maintain work instructions, communicate policies, and manage associate performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience coordinating daily work, workflows, projects, or operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using performance metrics to improve delivery, receiving, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, or budget performance.
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methods.
• Experience supporting workplace safety and compliance in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, perform physical duties throughout the workday, and occasionally lift or move materials up to 50 pounds with assistance for heavier items.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in high-volume distribution, shipping and receiving, warehousing, supply chain operations, or a related environment.
• Experience formally leading and developing associates, including performance management.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning software, international shipping and receiving, or third-party logistics providers.
