Wknd Coating Assistant - Day Shift (Manufacturing)

Manufactures specialty materials and engineered solutions for filtration, healthcare, sustainable packaging, and other industrial applications.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines that apply adhesives to release liners and substrates.
• Prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, liners, and other raw materials for production.
• Operate the wet or dry end of the coater and perform changeovers, cleaning, adjustments, and simple maintenance.
• Verify work orders and process sheets, enter production data, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist coating operators with machine operation while supporting quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain workstation and department housekeeping, communicate shift activities, and report quality or equipment issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Fluent written and verbal English, basic math and reading skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use measuring devices accurately.
• Good computer skills for production data entry.
• Ability to safely lift and position materials and a 32-pound adhesive pump; heavy lifting and movement are required.
• Ability to follow ISO procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience and exposure to production machines.
