Painter - 2nd Shift

Location: Fairmont, Minnesota, United States of America; Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m., with overtime as required.

Salary: $22.66–$24.82 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare, clean, power-wash, liquid-spray, and powder-coat parts.
• Operate forklifts, grinders, paint booths, automated lifters, and other painting equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild paint pumps, guns, agitators, air motors, and powder-paint systems.
• Handle, label, store, and dispose of hazardous materials, paint waste, and related supplies.
• Estimate paint quantities and job times for special customer projects and support proper application of specialized paint systems.
• Maintain inventory and documentation, support ISO audits, train employees, and promote quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous painting experience is preferred.
• Ability to work the required second-shift schedule and overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform daily hazardous-material handling and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to operate computers and complete work orders, time records, and other documentation.
