Field Reimbursement Manager - Seattle, WA

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States. The territory covers Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Candidates must live in the geography or within 10 miles of its border. The role includes customer appointments in the geography two days per week, remote work from a home office, and up to 40% travel by automobile or plane. Relocation is not included.

Salary: $145,470.70–$196,813.30 per year.

What you will do

• Manage defined accounts and execute the territory strategy for Patient Access and Reimbursement within the Bone Health business unit.
• Provide live, one-on-one coverage support as an extension of the HUB.
• Guide healthcare providers through the reimbursement journey, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, claims resolution, and alternate funding programs.
• Review patient-specific information and resolve coverage challenges involving patient health information.
• Educate healthcare providers on commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid coverage, formulary requirements, utilization management, and reimbursement procedures.
• Coordinate access issues with HUB partners and cross-functional departments while communicating payer changes across the territory.

Requirements

• Must live in the territory or within 10 miles of its border.
• Doctorate degree; or a master's degree with 3 years, bachelor's degree with 5 years, associate's degree with 10 years, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of customer service and/or leadership experience.
• Experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• At least 2 years of experience in public or private third-party access, managed care, clinical support, sales, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Medical reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, Buy & Bill, insurance verification, claims adjudication, billing, coding, and appeals experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, project management, computer literacy, and cross-functional collaboration skills; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
• Six years of experience with specialty or biologic self-injectable products or physician-administered products.
• Advanced medical insurance terminology and CMS policy knowledge, including Medicare Part B and Part D.
• Experience managing ambiguity, solving problems, and managing expenses within allocated budgets.
