Senior Patient Access Liaison (Biotechnology)

Location: Field based in the Eastern United States, with key locations including Manhattan, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, and Miami. Candidates must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory border and be able to travel by air and car at least 50% of the time.

Base salary: $200,000–$230,000 USD per annum, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification, patient enrollment, and treatment access readiness.
• Educate site and office personnel on coverage, coding, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement, and affordability programs.
• Identify and resolve patient access barriers through buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and other approved support pathways.
• Coordinate treatment logistics and scheduling across REMS requirements, specialty pharmacies, distribution partners, and external support networks.
• Maintain account plans, CRM documentation, and compliant records of case interactions and resolutions.
• Coach Patient Access Liaison colleagues and lead regional initiatives and process-improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare environments.
• Experience with REMS-regulated products, buy-and-bill products, specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, coding, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and building relationships with treatment sites and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license required.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory border and be willing to travel 50% or more.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must have employment rights in the United States.
