Data Product Manager (AI)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office and 30% flexible work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible due to export control requirements.

Salary: $121,600–$194,500 per year, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Prioritize and sequence data products and AI use cases based on measurable business value.
• Define data products end to end, including consumers, service levels, acceptance criteria, ownership, access, classification, and lineage.
• Specify data quality, validation, traceability, governance, and compliance requirements for GxP environments.
• Drive adoption in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain workflows by measuring usage and gathering feedback.
• Maintain a business-outcome-driven product backlog and partner with engineering teams on testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate data engineering, platform, analytics, business, and domain stakeholders while communicating dependencies and tradeoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience defining and delivering data, analytics, reporting, or digital solutions used in production workflows.
• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries, with exposure to CMC domains.
• Experience with data modeling, data quality, cloud-based data platforms, pharmaceutical systems, and domains such as Veeva, SAP, MES, or LIMS.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, written specifications, use case definitions, and data product briefs.
• Understanding of data governance, GxP, data integrity, and compliance requirements for data, analytics, and AI solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Veeva Quality, LabVantage, Syncade, MES, LIMS, dbt, Redshift, Snowflake, or medallion data architecture.
• Experience with GitHub workflows, docs-as-code, version-controlled specifications, or data governance programs.
• Experience driving sustained operational adoption of data products.
• Knowledge of agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, LLM applications, or predictive model prerequisites.
• Background in GxP validation readiness for data systems and analytics platforms.
