TL;DR
Product Manager / Senior Product Manager (Actuarial Analytics & MedInsight Data Products): Building and managing MedInsight data products, enriched healthcare datasets, semantic layers, and AI-enabled analytics with an accent on actuarial data, product strategy, data quality, and governed self-service. Focus on translating complex healthcare analytics needs into delivery requirements, advancing agentic workflows, and coordinating cross-functional and vendor teams.

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in an office in Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, or Lewiston. Preference is given to candidates within commuting distance or willing to relocate to a listed office.

Salary: Product Manager II expected hiring range of $100,000–$135,000 or $104,000–$131,000 depending on state; Product Manager III expected hiring range of $113,000–$150,000 or $128,000–$160,000 depending on state. Full salary ranges extend up to $208,000, with a 15% bonus target where specified.

What you will do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, backlog, and product direction for inbound Milliman-enriched data, outbound MedInsight extracts, Healthcare Intelligence views, and related data products.
  • Manage operational readiness, releases, defects, vendor delivery questions, validation findings, stakeholder escalations, documentation, and product support.
  • Translate actuarial methodology, business objectives, data lineage, quality needs, and analytic consumption patterns into requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
  • Advance governed semantic layers, AI-powered insight discovery, automated data discovery, agentic self-service, analytic service management, and responsible AI practices.
  • Partner with Actuarial, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, Clinical, Care Management, Provider Analytics, Engineering, Data Governance, Architecture, Operations, and Milliman teams.
  • Drive adoption, governance, data quality, supportability, usage measurement, and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or a relevant field, with 6+ years of healthcare product management experience for Product Manager II or 8+ years for Product Manager III.
  • Working fluency in SQL, modern data platforms, dimensional modeling, semantic layers, data quality, lineage, and BI or visualization tools.
  • Healthcare payer data experience covering claims, eligibility, enrollment, member exposure, providers, benefits, revenue, and analytic consumption.
  • Working knowledge of actuarial and payer analytics concepts such as PMPM, member months, unit cost, benchmarking, utilization, risk adjustment, attribution, and analytic validation.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical issues and make product tradeoff decisions with product, engineering, actuarial, vendor, and business stakeholders.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement with three office days per week at a listed US office, or willingness to relocate to one.

Nice to have

  • MBA.
  • Experience in consumer-facing software, services, or a startup environment.
  • Experience with SIGMA, Snowflake Cortex Code, Snowflake CoWork, Agent Studio, generative AI, semantic layers, or agentic analytics.
