Process Engineer IV (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Lead process discipline execution on large and complex projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Develop process designs, construction drawing packages, specifications, system programs, master plans, and process strategies.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control for calculations, drawings, specifications, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Lead client, vendor, construction partner, and internal stakeholder interactions.
• Support construction through RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, progress reporting, commissioning, and startup.
• Mentor engineers and designers and deliver process discipline training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biological, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of relevant process engineering experience for lead-level responsibilities or 15+ years for senior-level responsibilities.
• Experience in design firms, operating companies, and/or construction environments within life sciences or food and beverage industries.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards, regulatory guidance, and local building codes.
• Ability to lead complex projects, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate with clients, vendors, and construction partners.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related specialization.
• Experience with site selection, feasibility studies, capacity planning, facility layouts, complex vendor packages, HAZOPs, 3D model reviews, and startup planning.
