Process Engineer IV

What you will do

• Lead process engineering scope for projects from conceptual design through construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Plan and direct discipline work, including scope, schedules, budgets, proposals, and man-hour planning.
• Develop construction drawing packages, specifications, facility layouts, process flows, and master plans.
• Perform and review engineering calculations, technical documentation, field surveys, and construction reports.
• Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, developing punch lists, and reporting progress.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, multidisciplinary teams, vendors, manufacturers, and construction partners while mentoring junior engineers and designers.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a design firm, operating company, or construction-related environment.
• Experience leading process engineering scope on complex projects.
• Advanced experience with field surveys, field reporting, engineering calculations, process-system troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and building codes.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, construction trade partners, vendors, and manufacturers.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Experience spanning design, operations, and construction environments.
• Experience with site due diligence, capacity planning, vendor packages, HAZOP or HACCP risk assessments, and 3D model coordination.
