Senior Manager, CS Upgrade Technical Delivery Lead

Location: 100 Summer St., Boston, MA; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Flexible-first work options include office, home, and hybrid schedules. Travel: 0–25%.

Salary: $100,800–$179,600 annually depending on candidate location, plus eligible annual bonus compensation.

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software upgrades with minimal business disruption.
• Define and review technical requirements covering security, integration, performance, quality, and operations.
• Analyze release notes and code changes to assess upgrade impact and develop low-impact upgrade paths.
• Debug custom and base code, triage customer issues, and provide workarounds or remediation solutions.
• Coordinate engineering, customer, and cross-functional teams through deployment, post-deployment support, and risk mitigation.
• Manage team performance, mentor engineers, share product knowledge, and improve upgrade processes through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in network administration, programming, or information systems.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience and experience managing teams and direct reports.
• Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep experience with C#, .NET, SQL, relational database design, Visual Studio, XML, XSL/XSLT, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of hirify.global products, P&C insurance applications, software development life cycles, and systems integration across policy, billing, claims, reinsurance, and third-party systems.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing hirify.global Example Platform solutions for Policy Administration, Billing, or ASW Claims.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience governing AI-driven automation for upgrades, impact analysis, code remediation, and operational processes.
