Software Developer - Full Stack (Co-op)

Location: In person at the Vancouver, British Columbia office

Salary: CAD $3,600–$4,500 per month

hirify.global develops robotics, AI, and machine vision software that helps manufacturers automate bin picking, sorting, packaging, and assembly.

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features for Apera Forge, a web-based simulation and development platform for vision-guided robotics.
• Implement React UI components and integrate them with backend APIs built with Python and Flask.
• Write and run unit and integration tests for new functionality.
• Improve developer workflows, test automation, build scripts, error logging, and documentation.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure by monitoring logs, troubleshooting deployments, and improving container or service-health scripts.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, debugging, and feature breakdown with mentor guidance.

Requirements

• Experience with Python or React through coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with Git and basic web development practices.
• Interest in cloud-hosted applications and modern DevOps tooling.
• Availability for the 8-month co-op term from January 2027 through August 2027.
• Ability to work in person at the Vancouver office.
• Resume and transcript must be submitted with the application.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Docker.
• Exposure to robotics, 3D graphics, or simulation environments.
• Open-source contributions or previous co-op experience.
