Senior Developer, Fullstack (AI & Data Platform)

What you will do

• Develop backend automation that integrates metadata sources and generates governed artifacts such as data contracts.
• Design and build agent-enabled applications and workflows, including MCP servers and data-focused tools.
• Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data-discovery workflows.
• Deliver production-quality APIs and services with testing, CI/CD, and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineering and governance partners on discoverable, trustworthy, and consumable data platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on fullstack development.
• Strong Python skills with FastAPI, asynchronous services, Pydantic, JSON Schema, API design, and service development.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, TypeScript, ES6, RESTful APIs, microservices, unit and integration testing, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools, LLM and agent frameworks, Graph RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Neo4j, Supabase, cloud computing, serverless architecture, and preferably AWS.
• Understanding of data engineering, data governance, catalogue tooling, agile methodologies, and consulting practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building MCP servers in addition to consuming them.
• Familiarity with data-contract standards, Collibra, Unity Catalogue, Horizon, Snowflake Cortex, or Genie.
• Experience in regulated or life-sciences environments and existing connections in the life-sciences industry.
