Director, Knowledge Management

Location: Fully remote within the USA. Candidates living near hirify.global offices may choose a hybrid schedule with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required. Travel 2–4 times per year may be required.

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 annually, with the range determined partly by location, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity.

What you will do

• Define and steward the vision, information architecture, navigation, metadata, templates, and structural standards for the myBoard staff intranet.
• Own the editorial quality of enterprise guidance by clarifying, synthesizing, restructuring, and retiring content when needed.
• Establish governance for content ownership, review cycles, canonical information, and long-term content currency.
• Design information flows across the intranet, collaboration tools, announcements, and shared workspaces.
• Use metadata, audience targeting, platform capabilities, and automation to improve discovery and reduce manual maintenance.
• Partner with Technology, communications, enterprise stakeholders, senior leaders, and content owners to improve execution and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in intranet leadership, information architecture, content strategy, digital workplace, knowledge systems, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience designing and stewarding enterprise knowledge hubs in complex organizations.
• Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, including the ability to clarify and synthesize complex guidance.
• Experience establishing content standards, page types, governance, metadata, audience targeting, and automation.
• Ability to operate in evolving information environments, influence without formal authority, and balance strategic intent with hands-on execution.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required.
