SCADA Designer (63215)

Location: Fully remote or Lakewood, Colorado; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Some field work and 5–15% travel may be required.

Salary: $30.00–$37.00 per hour, based on the Denver, Colorado labor market.

What you will do

• Perform detailed SCADA engineering design under the direction of a SCADA Engineer.
• Prepare SCADA one-line diagrams, port connection diagrams, fiber one-lines, control diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs.
• Design conduit and cable routing, select equipment, and prepare general arrangement drawings.
• Develop conceptual and high-level designs for project bids with limited information.
• Prepare basis-of-design documents, bills of materials, specifications, and project reports.
• Support QA/QC, client communication, CAD standards, and electrical drafting activities.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience: 0–1 years of relevant engineering design or related experience.
• Associate degree in drafting, design, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal command of English.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required. Ability to lift 25 pounds and follow safety requirements is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrical drafting, SCADA systems, or renewable-energy projects.
