Production Manager (Media)

Location: Fully on-site in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, five days per week. Requires weekend, holiday, and off-hours availability, plus domestic and international travel on short notice. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Plan and execute multiple domestic and international remote productions from pre-production through post-production.
• Coordinate crews, vendors, venues, equipment, transportation, travel, technology infrastructure, and production logistics.
• Develop production plans, budgets, cost comparisons, forecasts, schedules, and final reconciliations with Finance.
• Manage production schedules covering deliveries, builds, access windows, rehearsals, and live production activity.
• Coordinate contracts, insurance, visas, carnets, rights and clearances, security, legal, and risk-management requirements.
• Handle vendor negotiations, equipment rentals, invoices, payments, SAP updates, tax documentation, and administrative workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in remote production operations, including facilities, crew scheduling, travel logistics, vendors, and production planning.
• At least 5 years of experience in live news, field production, or another fast-paced production environment.
• Experience managing multiple productions, budgets, schedules, vendors, and operational workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong financial and administrative skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, invoice management, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States, pass applicable pre-employment requirements, and work weekends, holidays, off-hours, and travel on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of news-feature and spot-news production techniques, remote production equipment, and field production vendors.
