Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner (Manufacturing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. The position starts 100% onsite in northeast San Antonio and may transition to hybrid work as the manufacturing plant moves out of start-up mode. The permanent location will be at Brooks, San Antonio.

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR colleagues to develop talent solutions and achieve hiring goals.
• Develop and execute long-term business-level and short-term position-level talent acquisition strategies.
• Identify, attract, assess, and engage candidates while maintaining a strong hiring manager and candidate experience.
• Set expectations and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, candidates, vendors, and HR partners.
• Support onboarding, employee experience, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use labor-market data and industry intelligence to guide talent decisions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of corporate talent acquisition experience; 10 or more years is desirable.
• Experience recruiting across industrial manufacturing and/or construction, from shop-floor and site roles through plant or site leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders throughout the end-to-end talent acquisition process.
• Strong candidate assessment, communication, organization, follow-up, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to work in a changing start-up environment and help wherever needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in both a high-growth start-up environment and a mature corporate organization.
• At least two years of search-firm or agency experience in client and candidate management.
• Experience with Greenhouse or comparable ATS/CRM systems.
• Strong knowledge of the San Antonio manufacturing and construction labor market.
