Physician - Virtual Primary Care (Days)

Location: Fully remote within a US-based clinical practice; weekday or weekend day shifts in PST, with schedules supporting a 24/7/365 clinic

Salary: $240,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide virtual primary care through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across different ages and backgrounds, including chronic condition management and preventive care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage referrals and prior authorizations.
• Document patient care and communications in the EMR while completing compliance, CME, and licensing activities.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners through oversight, chart review, consultation, mentorship, and video visits as required.
• Contribute to clinical quality and process improvement while meeting patient satisfaction, documentation, response-time, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current unrestricted medical license and active board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• At least five years of clinical practice experience after residency; telehealth experience is strongly preferred.
• Active licenses in at least one of California, Texas, or Florida, plus five additional state licenses; willingness to obtain more licenses as needed.
• Availability for assigned weekends and holidays, with the ability to manage high-volume video and chat interactions independently.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, documentation, and patient engagement skills; reliable high-speed internet is required.

• Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact in five additional states.
