Asset & Wealth Management, Global Stewardship Team – Global Proxy Voting Implementation Lead, Vice President

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: USD 125,000–290,000 base salary annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design and manage governance structures, internal working groups, moderation meetings, and centralized proxy voting documentation.
• Coordinate proxy voting approvals and decisions across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, serving as the primary liaison with regional teams and the Head of Stewardship.
• Engage with investee company management on corporate strategy and governance, partnering with portfolio managers to assess material risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate regional proxy voting policy updates, Proxy Voting Council materials, public policy changes, board meeting materials, and compliance procedures.
• Prepare recurring stewardship reports and lead the annual Proxy Season Review, including quarterly vote disclosure accuracy and final report approval.
• Manage proxy service providers and work with technology teams to expand Fluent capabilities, automate voting processes, and resolve platform issues.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience executing proxy voting and engagement research in asset management.
• Experience with shareholder engagement at publicly listed companies and developing stewardship strategies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a diverse team, and partner effectively with portfolio managers.
• Expertise in proxy voting, corporate governance, policy compliance, reporting, and related data management.
