Data Science Intern (AI)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Research organizational data and analyze complex datasets to support data-driven business decisions.
• Develop statistical and machine learning models for forecasting, optimization, data mining, and predictive analytics.
• Design research projects, collect and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop recommendations.
• Apply algorithms and models to key business metrics to improve operations and answer business questions.
• Evaluate business metrics and communicate insights through polished reports and presentations to business and senior leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to recommend appropriate applications of analytics to business strategy.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Junior, senior, or master's student classification.
• Previous internship experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
