Data Scientist (Purchasing Power)

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office presence in Atlanta, Georgia; open to relocation

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve decision systems and predictive models supporting Purchasing Power's competitive advantage.
• Explore internal and external data sources to improve model performance.
• Design and implement in-market experiments for algorithms, technologies, and processes.
• Prototype technology-based solutions to business problems and support strategic changes through rigorous analytics.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced analytics methods using AI-enabled tools.
• Collaborate with a team of data scientists to develop tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's/PhD in a quantitative or technical field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, physics, or computer science.
• Experience with R, Python, machine learning tools, and SQL.
• Evidence of applying advanced models to real-world problems.
• Ability to create rigorous research and evaluation designs.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and openness to learning as AI-enabled tools and workflows evolve.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with in-office presence in Atlanta, Georgia, or relocate there.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Git.
• Experience implementing agentic AI.
