System/Software Analyst (Defense Systems)

What you will do

• Evaluate Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems against agile features, user stories, requirements, and interface control documentation.
• Conduct operational readiness and system-performance assessments of IBCS, radars, weapons, uplinkers, and related integrated systems.
• Develop and execute test cases, prepare test stimuli, and support real-time hardware-in-the-loop test events.
• Validate simulation, instrumentation, data-processing, and post-processing tools while recommending improved testing methodologies.
• Analyze test data, software builds, integration issues, defects, limitations, and mission impacts.
• Document findings in JIRA and brief technical conclusions and recommendations to government leadership and joint data-analysis communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and relevant military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software analysis, simulation, systems integration, testing, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience analyzing software or system test results and communicating technical findings and mission risks to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBCS, Patriot, THAAD, Sentinel, Aegis, LTAMDS, IFPC, or related air and missile defense systems.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting and analysis tools.
• Operational experience with Patriot or other Army air defense systems, tactical operations, air battle management, or joint kill chain procedures.
• Patriot Master Gunner, Table VIII, battalion or brigade standardization, or defense-planning experience.
