Senior Material Handler

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States; work may be required at both the Collamer and Enterprise facilities.

Salary: $21.35–$25.63 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare, package, document, and ship domestic and international orders.
• Complete import paperwork and coordinate shipment clearance, freight forwarding, and delivery quotes.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, record, and organize incoming materials.
• Pick, kit, and distribute production materials from stockroom and warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory checks and daily cycle counts while maintaining accurate stock locations.
• Operate forklifts, maintain the off-site warehouse, and resolve complex stockroom and inventory issues.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant material handling experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of experience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, analyze problems, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with safety procedures, lifting, and powered industrial truck operations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to access classified information following a government security investigation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Experience with packing, shipping, data entry, commercial packaging, or MRP inventory systems.
