Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required based on business needs.

Salary: $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Move, receive, transfer, store, and pick raw materials, containers, and finished goods.
• Produce, package, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to support warehouse and manufacturing activities.
• Complete data entry, ERP records, inventory activities, and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow plant safety initiatives and PPE requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and support incident investigations and other production tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and material handling.
• Two to three years of production or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes, and ERP data entry.
• Stand-up forklift experience, leadership ability, teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills preferred.
• Ability to manually lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
