Senior Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; the role supports the Newtown, CT facility and may require work in a factory cleanroom.

What you will do

• Process outbound materials for field operations and ensure accurate, timely shipments to customers.
• Analyze materials and prioritize part dispositioning, including emergency and priority customer orders.
• Handle software key requests by validating requests and distributing approved keys.
• Report production progress, delays, causes, shortages, and deviations across departments.
• Resolve material- and information-flow disruptions and initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in projects that improve and optimize cross-sector business processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or inventory management.
• General proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; SAP experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and work under changing workloads and deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export regulations before starting work.
• Must be willing to work in a cleanroom with full protective gowning and remain flexible for day and night shifts, including rotating twelve-hour compressed work weeks.

• Experience with SAP.
