What you will do

• Assist with installing control panels, field devices, sensors, actuators, and control wiring.
• Perform device checkout, point-to-point testing, system startup, and commissioning.
• Use meters, diagnostic tools, and software to troubleshoot wiring, device, communication, and control-system issues.
• Review wiring diagrams and construction drawings while supporting active building automation projects.
• Maintain as-built notes, redline drawings, and daily progress records.
• Build practical knowledge of HVAC equipment, DDC, controls programming, system graphics, and control networks.

Requirements

• Expected graduation in December 2026 or spring 2027.
• HVAC, HVACR, electro-mechanical, or building automation associate degree coursework is especially relevant.
• Coursework, laboratory work, internships, projects, or hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical controls, building automation, networking, or programming.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring practices, hand tools, test equipment, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work safely in construction and mechanical environments.
