Field Service Technician II (US Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; the role can be based at any US location and requires approximately 85% travel to job sites.

Designs and supports liquid cooling and large-scale air solutions for data centers, including demanding AI and hyperscale environments.

What you will do

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment used in data center cooling projects.
• Review work orders, blueprints, schematics, manuals, tools, equipment, and parts required for installation and repair.
• Manage challenging commissioning and warranty jobs while minimizing customer disruption and company costs.
• Coordinate with building owners, general and mechanical contractors, engineers, and local service contractors.
• Consult with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve unusual system operation and maintenance issues.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate product performance issues and improvement suggestions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC or similar electromechanical experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites.
• Strong analytical, customer service, independent working, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals and follow work through root cause analysis.
• Ability to complete jobs with outside technicians and follow up on parts delivery.

Nice to have

• Trade or technical school education or certification.
• Experience with industrial HVAC or similar electromechanical products.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
• Intermediate commercial project experience.
• Building automation experience.
