Area Controls Manager (Building Automation)

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $160,930–$205,000, with incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the local Controls and Building Automation business, including execution, profitability, and annual operating plan priorities.
• Monitor the project portfolio and ensure timely, successful delivery.
• Supervise Controls fulfillment personnel, assign resources, develop project plans, and manage performance.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, sales, fulfillment, and functional leaders.
• Review contracts and estimates, analyze risks, and confirm operational and financial feasibility before project acceptance.
• Maintain customer satisfaction, employee engagement, career development, and a safety-first work culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in building automation or controls, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial HVAC systems and building automation systems.
• Experience with construction processes for building automation installations and mechanical or HVAC projects.
• Advanced business and financial acumen, strong organization, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
