Field Service Technician II (US Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; approximately 85% travel to customer job sites

What you will do

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment for data center cooling projects.
• Review work orders, blueprints, schematics, manuals, tools, equipment, and parts requirements.
• Manage complex commissioning and warranty jobs while minimizing customer disruption and company cost.
• Coordinate with building owners, contractors, engineers, and local service providers.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve unusual system operation and maintenance issues.
• Provide technical guidance and customer service to end users, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, attention-to-detail, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with outside technicians, and follow up on parts delivery.

Nice to have

• HVAC servicing or industrial HVAC experience.
• Trade or technical school education or certification.
• Experience with commercial projects, Microsoft Excel and Word, or building automation.
