What you will do
- Plan and monitor manufacturing and qualification test campaigns for New Glenn flight avionics hardware.
- Manage project requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, integration, and cost in a development environment.
- Coordinate with responsible engineers, integrated product teams, test engineers, technicians, buyers, project managers, and other support personnel.
- Build stakeholder relationships and incorporate stakeholder needs into project management decisions.
- Support the development and operations of safe, robust avionics for a human-capable orbital launch vehicle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, operations management, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience planning and managing projects or programs in a development environment.
- Experience with manufacturing rate management and improvement.
- Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software.
- Strong written, communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in engineering, business, or project management.
- 8+ years of project management experience in an operations environment.
- Experience with launch vehicle development, production, operations, aerospace qualification testing, or human-rated spacecraft.
- Knowledge of avionics and electrical components, including LRUs, batteries, data acquisition systems, software, and test instrumentation.
- PMP certification and experience with EVMS, critical-path scheduling, risk management, requirements management, and cost account management.
