Process Engineer (Paper Manufacturing)

Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, USA

Annual base salary: $73,280–$128,070, depending on level and experience; some levels include a 12.5% monthly target bonus.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing control strategies and process improvement plans for the plant.
• Analyze production trends and implement improvements that increase productivity, reduce scrap, improve quality, and enhance the work environment.
• Develop capital authorization requests, identify new technologies, and manage capital projects.
• Apply Six Sigma and Total Quality Management tools while managing multiple improvement projects.
• Establish standard work instructions, conduct mill audits, and manage improvement action plans.
• Document engineering changes, maintain process and control records, support maintenance systems, and qualify changes with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with paper manufacturing processes, process control, quality improvement, or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to manage capital projects, engineering changes, audits, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
