What you will do

• Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and analysis of pulp and paper manufacturing processes and chemical treatment programs.
• Support wet-end, retention, drainage, strength, deposit control, and water treatment applications.
• Troubleshoot process upsets, quality issues, and equipment performance concerns in partnership with customer personnel.
• Analyze operating data to provide recommendations for improving productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain and calibrate chemical feed systems, pumps, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in pulp & paper manufacturing, specialty chemicals, process engineering, or a related industrial environment.
• Understanding of paper machine operations, process chemistry, or mill support functions.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting pumps, feed systems, and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Must be based in or able to work in Owensboro, Kentucky.
