Engineering Technician III (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $25.00–$34.70 per hour

What you will do

• Perform moderately complex electro-mechanical design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
• Test and troubleshoot system- and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and malfunction remediation.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Compile logbooks and test-procedure documentation and assist with department procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and plans.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to distinguish colors, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery including forklifts.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and, when required, wear cleanroom personal protective equipment.
• Regular communication with team members and ability to provide informal guidance to junior colleagues.
