Engineering Lab Technician

What you will do

• Assemble prototypes and application fixtures for residential product development.
• Perform development and engineering specification testing using documented procedures.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replication of product failures.
• Maintain engineering laboratory equipment, materials, and component inventories.
• Prepare electronic component kits and technical documentation for prototype builds.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in a product development environment.
• Associate degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology.
• Experience with electronics laboratory equipment and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
• Ability to solder and rework electronic assemblies, including SMT components.
• Ability to operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, and network analyzers.
• Ability to read schematics and specifications, create technical documentation, and use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout.
