What you will do

• Troubleshoot production equipment, fixtures, tooling, test systems, sensors, controls, and automation systems.
• Support process development, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and production issue resolution.
• Assist with equipment installation, startup, debugging, setup, adjustment, validation, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Improve safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, process consistency, and equipment reliability.
• Create and update work instructions, setup sheets, troubleshooting guides, maintenance procedures, and process documentation.
• Train operators and support production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams on updated processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, testing, or technical support.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the use of hand tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, work around production equipment, lift up to 35 pounds, and follow required safety procedures while wearing personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated equipment, production test systems, fixtures, machine controls, sensors, pneumatics, motors, PLCs, robotics, or data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, 5S, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Experience with technical documentation, ISO-certified or regulated manufacturing environments, CAD, LabVIEW, PLCs, or programming.
