Maintenance Technician I (Manufacturing)

Location: Roseburg, Oregon, USA; on-site, third shift. Starting schedule: Sunday 9:00pm–7:30am and Monday–Thursday 11:30pm–7:30am, with flexibility for a possible 12-hour shift.

Salary: $30.25 per hour and up, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform emergency, unscheduled, and routine repairs.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain distribution center and manufacturing equipment to OEM standards.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and production equipment troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and help minimize downtime affecting service-level agreements.
• Operate forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, and other motorized equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment documentation, report abnormal conditions, and support internal customers and the maintenance team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of technician experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or equivalent directly related education.
• Experience reading equipment manuals, work orders, electrical schematics, and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills, including AC/DC control wiring and relay logic, plus a basic understanding of PLCs.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and servo, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with INFOR-EAM or a comparable maintenance management system.
