VP, AI Platform

Location: Remote - US

Base pay range: $336,000–$400,000 USD per year, plus equity; an annual bonus may apply depending on the role.

What you will do

• Set the technical strategy for the internal AI Platform and build core services during the founding phase.
• Own the LLM gateway, agent framework, prompt and agent libraries, evaluation infrastructure, and AI data layer.
• Lead the Velocity program, including the AI harness, coding agents, testing frameworks, coverage gates, and developer experience.
• Build shared automation APIs, orchestration, integrations, observability, security controls, and cost management.
• Establish a single enterprise-wide AI platform adopted by Applied AI teams and hirify.globalering without parallel bespoke stacks.
• Scale the organization through a Director and principal and staff hirify.globalers across platform hirify.globalering, evaluation, security, and developer experience.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software or platform hirify.globalering experience, including 5+ years leading hirify.globalering teams or organizations.
• 8+ years building platforms or infrastructure relied on by other hirify.globalering teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on production AI/ML experience with LLMs, agents, and evaluation systems.
• Experience making platform architecture and build-versus-buy decisions at scale.
• Ability to personally architect and ship core platform services during the founding phase.
• Strong hirify.globalering leadership, executive influence, security judgment, and experience building privacy and responsible AI controls into infrastructure.
