BI Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States, with the position listed for California

Salary: $180,000–$190,000 per year, with potential eligibility for a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, scorecards, and executive analytics solutions.
• Analyze large healthcare claims datasets to identify trends, anomalies, savings opportunities, compliance risks, and root causes.
• Support Payment Integrity initiatives through measurement, reporting, claim analysis, and evaluation of program effectiveness.
• Translate requirements from business, compliance, clinical, and technology stakeholders into scalable analytics solutions.
• Advise on analytics workbench architecture for regulatory, compliance, and operational reporting.
• Improve reporting effectiveness through data governance, quality controls, forecasting, automation, and AI-enabled analytics.

Requirements

• Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development, DAX, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data governance, compliance reporting, and regulatory analytics.
• Strong healthcare payer experience with deep knowledge of healthcare claims data and claims lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of Payment Integrity, including claim validation, overpayment identification, recoveries, and pre-pay and post-pay reviews.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. Immigration sponsorship is not available at this time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS Analytics services.
• Experience supporting compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting programs.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI-enabled reporting solutions.
• Understanding of CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reporting environments.
• Power BI, Azure, healthcare analytics, or Payment Integrity certifications.
