Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote - US; not eligible for hiring in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

Salary: $116,960–$146,200 for Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington, D.C.; $123,760–$154,700 for New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California outside the San Francisco Bay Area; $137,520–$171,900 for the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation for other locations is discussed during hiring.

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets and provide recommendations to improve revenue operations efficiency.
• Build and maintain GTM data models for sales analytics, reporting, data science, and AI capabilities.
• Develop automated data reconciliation, quality checks, testing frameworks, and data observability practices.
• Create visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Automate BI through version-controlled dashboards and semantic layers using Git, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align business metrics and improve analytics capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, especially for executive reporting and sales analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience designing data models.
• Experience implementing data quality and testing frameworks, CI/CD, and data observability.
• Ability to document and reconcile business metrics and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong stakeholder partnership and mentorship skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience with code-based BI and semantic tools such as Looker, LookML, dbt, Cube.js, or Apache Superset.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, GTM platforms such as Salesforce or Gong, and AI products such as Claude, Cortex, Glean, or Gemini.
• Experience establishing data culture and best practices in a technology organization.
