Repo Coordinator II

Location: Getzville, New York, United States of America; ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Salary: $20.55–$34.25 hourly

What you will do

• Coordinate repossession and transportation of delinquent auto and recreational vehicle collateral.
• Provide repossession agents with accurate information and coordinate with collectors, vendors, attorneys, and law enforcement.
• Research collateral value and support the Remarketing Team in evaluating repossession costs and benefits.
• Perform skip-tracing, contact customers, coordinate payments or collateral surrender, and conduct collections activities.
• Negotiate settlements with mechanic’s lien holders, impound lots, marinas, and dealerships.
• Participate in vendor-site audits and maintain compliance and operational risk controls.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined higher education and/or relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Customer contact and management of 200+ accounts per week.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors, attorneys, and law enforcement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Collections or repossession experience.
• Knowledge of M&T Bank systems.
