Senior Member of Technical Staff, Product Engineering (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York City; in-person work five days per week

Salary: $175,000–$265,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build and own core product features powering thousands of AI agents in parallel for logistics use cases.
• Translate customer business needs into reliable, scalable software and act as a bridge between engineering and customers.
• Design and implement data pipelines and backend systems that can scale from hundreds to millions of users.
• Ship end-to-end features in a SaaS environment for enterprise logistics clients.
• Collaborate on architecture, product decisions, and technical direction.
• Help define product engineering practices as an early member of the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with architectural ownership and a focus on system quality and maintainability.
• Strong backend and systems engineering fundamentals.
• Experience owning core product or infrastructure in a SaaS or platform environment.
• Ability to design for reliability, performance, and long-term scalability.
• Comfort working in an in-person startup environment and in the office five days a week in San Francisco or New York City.

Nice to have

• Node.js, TypeScript, or GraphQL experience.
